What is Larder? +

Larder is a tool to let you share your recipes in an easy to use and customised page, as well as any links to anything else you have going on. Think of it as a cross between a link-in-bio tool, and your very own recipe site with all the trimmings like serving-size calculators, nutrition info, and more.

Is Larder free? +

Larder is completely free to use! No taking card details or anything. We may look at charging for some features in the future, but for now, it's all yours to play with.

Do I need a password? +

Nup. Larder uses passwordless email-link authentication. Enter your email, we send you a link, you click it, and you're in. There's no password to remember or reset.

How do I add a recipe? +

Easy peasy. Either type it directly into the editor, or paste a block of text (from your socials, notes app, a message from your nonna) and Larder's AI parses it into structured ingredients and steps. You can even take a photo of something handwritten!

Can recipes scale to different serving sizes? +

Yes. Every recipe has a serving-size stepper. Your followers can adjust the serving size and the ingredient amounts update automatically - no maths required. The original recipe is preserved; only the displayed amounts change.

Can I customize how my page looks? +

Yep! You can change the colours, the backgrounds, the fonts, and style of the recipe cards (from glass to scalloped to notepad and more). Your page should feel like your own.

What URL will my cookbook live at? +

Your cookbook lives at larder.bio/s/yourhandle (e.g. larder.bio/s/flimsybeets). Your handle is yours - you pick it when you sign up.

Can I use Larder as my Instagram / TikTok bio link? +

Yes - that's a primary use case. One link in your bio shows all your recipes, plus links to your other socials. You don't need Linktree on top.

Does Larder work on mobile? +

Yes. The reader experience is mobile-first; most of your followers will be opening recipes on their phones in the kitchen. The creator experience also works great both on desktop and mobile.

Can I import recipes from other apps? +

You can paste text or a screenshot from anywhere - another app, a website, a photo of a handwritten card - and Larder's AI will convert it into Larder's format. You can also export all your recipes from Larder in a generic format for safekeeping or to use elsewhere.

Who built Larder? +

Larder is built by a small team in Sydney, Australia. We're home cooks who got tired of recipe blogs covered in ads and wanted somewhere our friends and followers could just see the recipe.

How do I get in touch? +

We have a feedback form in the dashboard when you sign up! We would love to hear any ideas or feedback.
